関西国際学園 さくらインターナショナルスクール

Kansai International Academy aims to create the safest school in the world!

A school is a place where parents send their children, who are the most important to them, and it is also a second home for children. Therefore, we place the utmost importance on the safety of the school.

In order to ensure the safety of our school, we have organized an Information Security Committee.

Information Security Committee

We have an Information Security Committee that is constantly reviewing our security system and implementing and strengthening various management systems.

The members of the Security Committee are as follows;

Head of Information Security Management

Kumiko Nakamura

Members of the Information Security Committee Yukari Serata, Hiroko Takagi, Ayano Mori, Kazuyo Mori, Mari Tominaga, Mayu Sato

Secretary of the Information Security Committee

Naomi Motoshima

Certification of compliance with the guidance and supervision standards for non-registered childcare facilities

ELC and kindergarten sections of our school are classified as non registered childcare facilities.

If we run a non-registered childcare facility, we are subject to an annual inspection by the local government.

These inspections are conducted not only by the facilities themselves, but also by outside experts who check the layout of the classrooms, the way furniture is set up, whether there are any hygiene problems, whether the number of childcare workers meets the standards, the working conditions of the staff, the ratio of workers to children, and the implementation of nap check sheets, physical measurements, and evacuation drills.

If the facility is found to have no problems as a result of this on-site inspection, a certificate is issued stating that the facility meets the standards for the guidance and supervision of non-registered childcare facilities.

All of our campuses have received this certificate.

Manage Staff Personal Cell Phones

All staff members' personal cell phones are kept in a locked location in the office where the manager can manage them. They are kept in lockers that can be seen inside, and the manager checks them based on a checklist at a certain time.

The location where the phones are kept is monitored by security cameras from the ceiling.

Security cameras in all classrooms and offices

Security cameras have been installed in all campuses and classes to monitor and record classroom activities. This video is not shown to the parents, but only to the members of the Information Security Committee and those authorized by the committee.

Security cameras have been installed in all campuses and classes to monitor and record classroom activities. This video is not shown to the parents, but only to the members of the Information Security Committee and those authorized by the committee.

The videos are kept for 6 months so that we can immediately check what happened in the class, such as injuries or fights, with sound. Those situations and their causes are checked and verified in detail, so that we can take countermeasures in the future and use them for staff training. In addition, once a month, members of the Information Security Committee check the campus via security camera videos, without notifying each campus, to check on classes, to make sure that nothing is in the way in front of the cameras, and to check for damage to the cameras.

Lockers with keys in all campuses

All files with personal information of students and parents are kept in locked lockers, and the place of storage is monitored by security cameras from the ceiling.

Stranger Drills for Security

Evacuation drills are held once a month at each campus. There are two types of drills, one for disasters and the other for strangers. Only the manager and the staff who play the role of strangers know when the drills are held, and the staff in each class are trained to respond to any situation. If the drill does not go well, we conduct it again the following week instead of waiting until the next month.

Staff Training

We invite experts to give lectures on the handling of personal information to our staff during the training sessions for all campus staff.

The staff at the Head Office Support Center, where all the campus' personal information is stored, hold regular study sessions to make sure that the information is handled with care and that the content is properly understood in accordance with the school's privacy policy. This privacy policy is also available for parents to view.
